About Ken
A Different Kind of Introduction
If you’re here, you’re likely considering a purchase or sale in the near future. You’re trying to understand who you’re working with, how they think, and whether they’ll guide you with clarity and sound judgment.
My approach is straightforward. I provide clear communication, direct answers, and practical guidance based on your specific situation. I’ll point out risks, explain options, and help you make informed decisions without pressure or unnecessary complexity.
Real estate involves significant financial and personal considerations. My role is to help you navigate that process with structure, transparency, and a steady hand.
In the end, most people choose to work with someone they come to understand and trust. That typically comes through a conversation, not a paragraph.
When the time is right, we can have that conversation.
Rooted in the Great Lakes Bay Region
I was raised here and attended local schools—Handley Elementary, South Intermediate, and Arthur Hill High School. I later earned degrees in Computer Science, Marketing, and Business Administration through the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Northwood University, and Delta College.
My career path has been varied and practical—from early work as a delivery driver for Edward’s Men’s Shop to roles in consumer electronics with a national retailer, and later project management within the telecommunications industry. Each step has been grounded in problem-solving, communication, and working with people in real-world situations.
That background ultimately led me to real estate, where those same skills apply directly— helping clients navigate decisions, manage complexity, and move forward with confidence.
Involved in the Community
I am also a member of the Leadership Saginaw County Class of 2022 (Best Class Ever!), a ten-month program focused on community awareness. The program brings together existing and emerging leaders to better understand the opportunities and challenges within Saginaw County, while providing direct access to local organizations and community leadership.
Through that experience, I engaged with a range of organizations serving the region, including the CAN Council, Child and Family Services, Children’s Grief Center, Emmaus House, Saginaw County Youth Protection Council, Underground Railroad, Saginaw Rescue Mission, Mustard Seed Shelter, YMCA, and United Way of Saginaw County.
As part of a day of service, I assisted in organizing and inventorying donations at the City Rescue Mission.
A Personal Interest
I bought it before I knew how to drive a manual transmission, so I had to learn—quickly.
It’s small, low to the ground, and keeps you close to the road—aware of what’s happening and able to respond quickly.
It was an early lesson in making a decision, committing to it, and working through the process that followed.
It’s stayed with me ever since.
Outside of Work
We take a hands-on approach to maintaining and improving our surroundings. It’s a steady process—planning, maintaining, and seeing results over time. Our grandchildren often join us when they can, helping with planting and learning as they go.
Whether it’s tending to the landscape, watching things develop through the seasons, or simply being outside, it’s a way to stay grounded and focused.
We also enjoy the simpler parts of it—fresh air, time outside, and paying attention to what’s happening around us, from the changing landscape to the activity of birds and pollinators.
If you’re thinking about buying or selling, we can connect and talk through your situation when the time is right.
I provide clear answers, practical advice, and a structured approach so you can make informed decisions and move forward with confidence.
